Moonly Review 🌓 Slowly slower slowing slow
The Book Is Published. OMG. OMG. OMG.
Howdy Ho! 👋
I got totally delayed with my New Moon letter to you, as I wanted to include a very special link.
Here it is:
"How To Build A Regenerative Village" - the co-created book I had the honour and fun to lead is now published as version 0.9.
Celebration video (2m40):
I'm soooo happy to see it out there in the world. The next step is to get the real-life feedback (from you) and hopefully regain momentum to turn it into version 1.0.
The big dream is to see it pop-up in co-living spaces, co-working hubs, villages etc. all around as a beautifully printed hardcopy. I invite you to contribute your energy in any way feasible to make this happen, ofc ✨
With this massive project shipped to the world, I'm noticing that I'm tired. I've been working pretty much non-stop this year and I can feel that in my body. It's time to shift gears and gradually relax into perfect stillness, as I complete the last projects for this year.
Slowly slower slowing slow.
And then stop.
A big topic of my last weeks is finding my personal domino.
I am immersed deep into shadow work, self-alignment, processing, and all that internal jazz. It's not easy. For example, I am noticing a lot of tension coming up surrounding moniezzzz, which in some fucked-up way is connected to my fear of rejection and fear of being stuck, which in turn activates my courageous heart and defiant rule-breaking pirate self, and some other funky guys inside me. I'm constantly moving between different nodes of self - playful and challenging ones - attempting to make sense of it all, and embrace all parts, surrender to the path that is kinda clear but also not clear at all, align everything and flow. It's hard fucking work, and yet it's absolutely critical. And I'm getting very good at it.
Publishing the book was the first domino block. I have some hints about the next one, but it is still not perfectly clear. I'll report once I find it. For now I have a whiteboard and shitload of carrrrrds (obviously).
Funny enough, the domino effect with my routines works ridiculously well.
On arrival to Pico I had no routines (apart from my Infinity Squares which I don't even count because it's just an integral part of my life). In a space of less than two months I'm back to swimming, yoga, meditation, long walks, focused work, reading non-fiction and fiction, and more. As I scale up my routines, I re-discover a very specific state of "Being" and spaciousness resulting from taking good care of my self.
Projects are fun, but MY WELLBEING IS MY PRIORITY.
I feel so grateful for amazing days I am privileged to live. Here's how I visualised them from 🌕 to 🌑:
What else I've been up to:
Reading "Sand Talk" (BLOWS MY MIND SOOO GOOD), and Gentleman Bastards Trilogy (soooo much fun)
Watching "Triangle of Sadness" (it's very rare to come across a very good film released in the last 10 years and that's definitely one of them), "Moana" (just another Disney same-old stuff, but it has a sailing vibe that speaks to me, and the music number "Shiny" is brilliant)
Co-creating "Mycelium Network" - a digital space for meeting needs - with wonderful souls from Gaianet
Co-creating a Yearly Reflection Mini-retreat in Faial
Scouting for land suitable for a regenerative village in Pico / Faial. I am quite clear that I want to have a Home in the Azores, and if I do, I want it to be a super-fun and enriching environment to live in. As I'm sensing into the village DNA, I'm getting something like: Ocean + Art + Personal Regeneration.
Attending Doing Better Work Together gathering
Playing drums again - a dear friend in Pico requested a drum crew show for her birthday, so we came together to make it happen 🥁🥁🥁 I missed drummmm crewwww so much. And it always brings back the memory of that one very powerful Beltane night, when I was a part of the Beasties Drum Crew. It’s one of the most amazing memories, and what a ritual to be a part of:
One day I'll find a bunch of crazy peeps who want to drum together, and we'll take it to the next level. Pinky promise.
Gift for Patreons
In the spirit of encouraging financial support to fuel my work, every Moon Cycle I'm sharing a gift for Patreons only. This time I invite you to peak at the video processing how the Mycelium Network could work.
A visual diary from the previous Moon cycle.
Love and Light, and stay SHINY ✨✨✨
