Layers of Aliveness.

I've been noticing lately that I'm running out of positive adjectives to describe how my life feels right now.

I get to devote myself to study sailing, the art that has been calling me for so many years, while living in one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to. And I live on a funky boat. And I keep meeting amazing humans, leaving me feeling nourished, inspired, and connected. I make cards and see their impact. I get to participate in fantastic contact improv classes. I bike around and feel alive and sing and dance and walk and laugh and have a total blast...

The list goes on. I'm definitely in the right place at the right time.

Even numbers and ship stability calculations don't take the smile off my face. Quite on the contrary - as recommended by a dear friend I keep looking for the God in numbers, and indeed I am experiencing divine moments when a bunch of random digits start to reveal patterns that beautifully describe my lived experience of the beautiful dance a boat is dancing while cutting through the waves. And don't get me started on the magic of the 4-stroke diesel engine! And the delightful puzzle of the maritime law... I seriously love every single subject, not just the obvious favourite (navigation).

Also, just to water the seeds planted last Sunday on a traditional ships convention in Den Helder, I'm reaaaaaally feeling into spending some quality time with these two beautiful ladies next year:

On a different note, I've been slowly but steadily progressing the Wild Wizards - the playful facilitation ecosystem, powered by cards.

I've been playing with cards in different contexts, from writing a cocreated book, through deep relational processing, to fun quests at burns, and storytelling games at parties.

Magic happens when cards are played, and I'm here opening the space to share my card facilitation skills with the first round of Card Wizards.

With amazing support from my business coach Dan, I made the excitingly scary order to the printer and await my first batch of Wild Cards - the first deck created in collaboration with Silvia and Juliana.

The Plan:

Horizon 0: Launch Wild Cards, learn manufacturing process, setup positive impact business model

Horizon 1: host prototype IRL events in Amsterdam, launch next decks (each deck is a collaboration)

Horizon 2: Get invited as a Card Wizard to facilitate at IRL events

Horizon 3: Wild Wizards as a collaboration platform for facilitators, artists, and ofc Wizards to cocreate boutique card games and facilitation tools.
