Happy Full Moon!
A few weeks ago I went through some kind of identity crisis, which helped me understand what are the pieces of my life that are not in alignment. Through this shift I've verbalised some intentions and started to direct my energy towards them.
Long story short, the seeds are already sprouting 🌱.
Regenerative Community in Pico
I've co-hosted the first gathering of our community, and I'm simply mind-blown by this experience. I can feel a very palpable shift inside the people who were there, and inside of myself. I don't have a good way of putting it into words just yet, but I feel that I shifted from having friends in the island to having a family.
I'm also feeling fully committed to stay in Pico for the long-game (even if I don't feel like I want to stay here forever), and catalyse the local community to make this island one of the best places to live on our beautiful planet. Sounds like a good plan for the months to come, and a great motivator to expand my local network and get to know new people and projects.
The wonderful part of this experience, is that the more energy I give to the island and its people, the more energy I get back. It feels like a powerful eruption of energy being channeled through me. The challenge is to stay grounded in the midst of this excitement.

If you want to learn about our Summer Gathering, I have some treats for you: a luscious documentation, and a debrief conversation with Richard Bartlett (author of Microsolidarity framework which I'm applying in Pico) in a video and podcast format.
Sailing
One of the big missing pieces in my life in the last few years is sailing. And guess what?
I found a wonderful captain, with a deep desire to share his immense knowledge and to spend as much time in the water as possible. Oh, and he's looking for crew. It feels like we're a match made in heaven.
The boat is magical too. Build in 1950s, Maria Armanda is a whaling boat, which caught its last whale in 1986 (which is actually quite disturbing). Catching whales wasn't an easy job, and it shows in the boat design: the ultimate simplicity, and maximum performance. In the last cruise (with an inexperienced crew) we maxed at 6.8 knots of speed with the wind at 7-8 knots. This is simply insane.
That’s us, with me in my happy spot, behind the helm, being one with the boat. ⤴
In the next months I'm hoping to spend a lot of time in the water, learning the craft of sailing and getting super-duper technical. Who knows, maybe I'll even join the racing crew?
Art
Since I was a tiny kid it was pretty obvious to me that I'm after a career as an artist. And then, a few years ago, I picked a different fork in the road and my artistic energy disappeared, supressed by the spiky authoritarian part of me, which I identify as the Entrepreneur. But now I'm back to art, baby, and it seems like Pico, is a very fertile ground for my next artistic chapter.
Ouroboros
Here's a timelapse of my first performance in a few years, during Açores Entre Mares Festival. It was really incredible to see the audience, especially the kids, get the message and join in.

Moments of Connection
This is my attempt to wrap beautiful moments into words. I'm after making a hundred of them. I'm now on #6.
What I'm Manifesting Next ✨
There's an immense power in verbalising heart desires out loud. Here are a few things I'm putting my energy into at the moment:
I'm a steward of a beautiful land, with a forest and an ocean view. I live in a peaceful tiny house, get my food almost entirely from the food forest, and put my heart into catalyzing a beautiful community.
I'm being gifted a sailboat. Buying stuff is oldschool. There's so much abundance in the world, and I'm sure there is a sailboat out there that awaits me, so we can co-create transformational experiences for people.
I'm co-running an arts company in Pico with my close friends. We're using art as a language and reach the souls of locals (natives and expats) and travelers in this wonderful place.
Let's see what happens.

Wishing you all the most wonderfulest summer,
