Moonly Review 🌑 Parallel
I'm experiencing past and present at the same time. Again.
Happy Beltane 🔥
... and Happy New Moon, of course 🌑
Big news first:
I shook hands on purchasing 8000m2 of Forest in my favourite place in Pico Island.
Yessss, it's a freaking jungle, and I'm expecting pterodactyls at any time 🦕..
The owners, a sweet older couple, offered to sell a bit more, totaling into almost 9000m2 of an absolutely gorgeous Land. I have my meeting at the notary scheduled for the 17th of May, which shifted my intention of spending the next Full Moon (16th of May) at sea, sailing towards Traditional Dream Factory. But I can roll with a couple of days delay.
It will still take some time to sink in that I have a forest home now. In the meantime, I keep spamming twitter with tweets like this:
I keep feeling deep resonance with a Moon Cycle back in 2017, when I departed from Edinburgh on the 16th of May, marking a powerful beginning of a new chapter.
Here's what I wrote in my journal on the evening before leaving:
I remember this particular time in my life very vividly. I can sink back into that past Michał, sitting in the Meadows for the last time, with his Heart wide open, ready to embrace the world fully.
As I feel that part of my past, I get quite emotional.
My last weeks before departure have been insanely abundant in the most precious moments that shook me deep to my core. Beltane with the Beasties, travel into the Highlands, Timeless bubble in the Arran Island...
And then, I have departed, to spend some time at sea, which reconnected me with myself and, for the lack of better world, the Universe.
Another parallel: I wrote a text in one of the first days at sea, and as I'm typing these very words to you know, my dear friend sits on the other side of the table composing music for a spoken word version of that text. It's funny how things come back in waves.
Feeling into 2017 also brings back my parting words to Edinburgh, which I transcribed later into this letter:
And here I am again.
And still, with a Heart Wide Open, embracing what is coming my way with a big smile on my face.
Dancing. Swimming. Walking. Being.
(That's my secret formula, btw.)
Ready for another chapter.
With passing years I keep re-remembering that traveling is a state of mind.
One of the poems that marked me shares that:
"I am a part of all that I have met;
Yet all experience is an arch wherethro'
Gleams that untravell'd world whose margin fades
For ever and forever when I move."
The world untraveled, is perhaps not necessarily a geographical location.
In fact, it's all that's still ahead - moments, people, stories - and most importantly, the journey of Being and Embracing it all - the Light, the Shadow, the Fear, the Love.
But, the world untraveled wouldn't exist without all that happened in the past. It's all One, merging here into this one moment when somehow it feels like I am experiencing my past and future life all at once, condensed into a tiny particle. And it brings such a powerful wave of gratitude that I'm about to cry.
Although, a more accurate description of how I'm feeling right now, would be standing on a cliff, with ocean roaring right bellow, birds dancing effortlessly in the wind, and me, crying, screaming, dancing, being, and somehow understanding, with no words needed.
It's a powerful moment, and I'm happy to share it with you.
The wave passes away,
and I stand firmly on the ground,
ready to fly.
Within a blink of an eye,
To another life.
EPILOGUE (end of the poem I mentioned before)
"We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."
Here's to you, and our shared adventures ☀️
Love and Light,
A few things I created since the last review:
Personal Website Flow - imperfect article about how I overcame resistance to publish online. I find it quite funny, but it’s a geeky type of fun. You’ve been warned.
Productivity Juggling - how a crazy week turned out to bless me with a perfect system. AKA more geeking out. So allow me switch to poetry:
Blossoming - a poem, inspired by a moment of connection on a magical couch
a few experiences, workshops, … not yet documented. Things take time and I’m okay with it.
In the meantime I’ve been gradually updating my Archive with texts, poems, experiences, and more... Slowly, slowly.
Finally, there's my Moonly Video, for your delight. Enjoy:
If the video doesn’t load, here’s the link.
