Moonly Review 🌑 AmsterClosure
Where Michał smashes his sailing exams, and bids farewell to his belowed Amsterdam.
Hello from Berlin.
I left Amsterdam on a beautiful day of Spring with a feeling of profound completion.
What seemed impossible is now my reality. I have passed all my sailing exams with excellent grades and I'm soon boarding on Grayhound to spend two months aboard. I have lived in one of the most wonderful cities I have ever been to, and I was nourished by the most amazing connections with beautiful humans who touched my heart and soul and sparked abundance of creativity.
Fuck, life is just soo good.
A cherry on top was landing right into quality time with one of my closest friends, who helped me reflect and process this last few months of life. And I got him to play with my pixel whip, which turned out to be the perfect match of a juggling toy for him. I love when that happens.
The last moon cycle was so intense - long days in the library and the final push of the KZV marathon.
Then the exams. And the joy of the second day when I woke up early and instead of cramming last minute knowledge, spend the last hours playing on the handpan which set me into a perfect mood for the most anticipated exam - navigation. I passed with a highest grade, and that's really the cherry on top of this whole year.
On reflection, I can see how lucky I am with teachers in my life.
After exams I was blessed to close my stewardship of Chateauroux with a week of sailing, which I wrote about here. And then I got kinda sick. I think my body was releasing all the intensity I put it through in the last months. Luckily, I had the opportunity to housesit with Darya in a cosy flat with two delightful animals. The motto for the week was heal and chill.
I also hosted my second Card Burn - a closure, gratitude and transformation ceremony with my closest friends in Amsterdam.
I wrote about it here.
Speaking of burns...
The growing feeling that I NEED to return to Nowhere again finally became so powerful that I bought my ticket and decided to bring another ship to this magickal desert.
My long term plan is to build a camp of burners that will eventually start sailing together. If that's something you'd like to be a part of, consider joining our camp this year. We're planning a longer sailing burn expedition next summer with Jorn. And who knows, maybe even a short one this summer?
... And then on a beautiful spring day I have expressed my love and gratitude to the Dam, and hopped on a train East taking me towards another chapter of life.
I'll be hosting Enspiral retreat this week and stepping into my Card Wizard role again, and then heading to Portugal for a quick hi, the Azores for a short touchpoint and then - boarding Grayhound for my first "proper" sailing adventure, starting with a crossing to Passaia, and then heading towards Gloucester, Falmouth and Duarnanez. And from there heading straight to my desert Wonderland, which transforms me into this kind of creature:
I'm so excited for all that is to come. I can feel my body buzz. It's incredible.
And I got myself some powerful cards for this cycle:
Tower is one of my favourites. The Wand is the exact reminder that I am indeed ready, and the embodied break is exactly what I need this month.
That's the squares for this upcoming cycle ready to be filled again:
And if you want to see the completed squares from my previous month, I invite you to my Patreon page.
Wishing you a beautiful and courageous new cycle!
