There are a few items in my backpack that really changed my life. XeroShoes Cloud are definitely one of them.
I know that it might sound strange to say this about shoes, but it’s true. I tend to walk quite a lot. And the Clouds change the whole experience of walking. It’s one of those “once you pop, you can’t stop” situations—after 1-2 weeks of adjusting, I knew that I will never go back to traditional footwear and now I only wear barefoot shoes. And Clouds are definitely my favourite ones.
Disclaimer: I get absolutely nothing from writing this—there are no affiliate links and no commissions etc. I freaking LOVE these shoes and I sincerely wish your feet to have the joy of trying them on. It’s a game-changer.
Okay, so why do I love them so much?
Well… They significantly improved my balance, posture and strength in my feet, ankles and knees. No biggie, right?
They are also incredibly versatile. I used them (very intensely) on any surface imaginable—muddy Scottish hills, tropical jungles, rocky Alps (I comfortably hiked way above 2000m, sandy beaches, Ocean (swimming in it, not walking on it, at least for now…), concrete and more—you name it. And I used them for everything—running, hiking, walking, dancing, exercise… They are stellar comfy and make me feel like I’m flying. Plus, since they weight close to nothing and take very little space I can always take them with me even if I’m not wearing them for some reason.
Bottom line: if I have to wear shoes—those are the ones I wear (unless it’s super cold, in which case I swap them for barefoot boots).
I’m now on my third pair of Clouds—I finally punctured the soles of my previous pair after a year and a half of use. It’s one of those few items, that when it breaks I just order a new one immediately. And while I was waiting for delivery, I fixed the puncture with duct tape to make sure I don’t have to spend a single day without them. I guess that says something…
Btw, I prefer the grey/black colour, but unfortunately it was out of stock. Doesn’t matter.
You can get them in the US shop and the European shop.
